This looks like a different issue than the large message issue.
I'm not sure why you would be getting/seeing dupes. Does the message have a valid MSGID?
The 0:229/700 might be an issue.
I already received 23 messages from FIDO-REQ echoThe 0:229/700 might be an issue.I think that might be an Aftershock thing.
Hello John Dovey,

I think that might be an Aftershock thing.I already received 23 messages from FIDO-REQ echo
and everything is ok so far. Will take a closer
look at this weekend. Probably this is CRLF thing
in kludges which affected old AfterShock versions.

This looks like a different issue than the large message issue.
I just saw about 200 fresh dupes in ALLFIX_FILE from 229/700. They have duplicate message bodies but each has a unique MSGID!
It's an issue at 229/700. You're node is working ok.
Huge kudos to Aftershock then that it recognized that these were dupes when sbbsecho didn't.

OK.
Much gratitude. I wasted more time than I really should have trying to trace problems in my SBBS config, thinking that might be the problem. good to know it's not.
