It stopped raining ... for now ... and the temperature is too high for snow, roughly 10C as we speak. We're the hot spot on the Island.
Meanwhile it was only 11F in the morning day before yesterday

Meanwhile it was only 11F in the morning day before yesterdayYou can keep it.
Speaking of cold, the coldest I've ever experienced was -50C, which converts to -58F, a long time ago in a land far, far away.
What if I don't want it...??

high on Monday of only 9°F maybe....

You'll have to take that up with Mother Nature. Good luck with that.

We're cooling off a tad but still above freezing even with the
overnight lows. Tonight the low is expected to be 5°C which is as
warm as the highs of last week. Also it started raining again today
and is expected to be at least showers for the next week or so.
We just got over a foot of the white stuff overnight, with more
coming down...
rain on Wednesday... on top of the snow
all I see is the probability of ice

I heard there is/was a big storm out east. I wasn't sure exactly
where out east but given you got a foot of snow I'd say Rochester
is/was part of Mother Nature's little tantrum.

That can be fun.
Today is clear, just in time for the super blood wolf moon eclipse
which begins in roughly 40 minutes from now. I am going to head down
to the beach which is within spitting distance from my front door to
have a looksee. It faces east and should be an excellent platform for viewing the entire ~5 hour event. I am amazed that we lucked out with
the weather especially at this time of year.
