btw binkd does not need nodelist if you use binkp.net as root domain

Why should I trust binkp.net
if your system has the regular nodelist delivered, you can use one of
the available scripts to create your own binkd compatible node
list... many of us do that rather than relying on someone else to do
it and hatch it out...

It depends on what kind of script you are talking about. The one I have is a perl script written by Jerry Schwartz (ex RC16). All I needed to do is put Strawberry Perl on my windows system.

Not sure if it's similar, it just creates a binkd-compatible config file from node-/pointlist(s), which can be included in main binkd.cfg:
