    ..but it's "entertainment and some visual fun" for the givers. :/

    You don't know that in advance when you ring the door bell! It could be an annoyance! ?

    Everyone is pretty much prepared to know what can occur on Halloween night. But homes provide signals on who participates and who does not. If there are no lights on at the entrance and no obvious visual decorations, then that house is to be bypassed.
