Not so much on the topic of coffee but the "othernets" FTN
network aliveness.

So, the FTN zone 8 is a typical "other net" and we usually
have invite announcements posted in the othernets
echomail, though I haven't seen such.
This forward proves that othernets exist, they have
traffic with even diverse echomail hierarchy like
FamilyNet.*

FamilyNet is huge in the number of topic areas. But not many
people have found the place, and therefore quite empty.
familynet was officially shut down years ago... "someone"
rescued the name and it has languished since along with
many of the other nets that person also "rescued" when
they were shutdown by their owners...
Familynet is very sparse in content right now.[...]

Women who drink two or three cups of coffee a day have been found to
have lower total body and abdominal fat than those who drink less, according to a new study published in The Journal of Nutrition.

"rescue" sounds very apropos. i.e. Fidonet reference to the dog.

I was told to stop drinking diet green tea, because of the caffeine
(22 milligrams per 12 ounce bottle). So, I've gone back to flavored
water. Just regular water is too bland for me. I'm trying to avoid
sodas.
Artificial sweeteners are best avoided. Try citrus-infused water? I
usually buy a handful of limes at the store and use those in my
water, or in a pinch one of those plastic lime-shaped squeeze
bottles.
And, if I accidentally fill my glass with vodka, it works, too.
Familynet is very sparse in content right now.
I'm making posts in the ham radio and comedy echoes, but otherwise,
they seem quiet.
