What did you mean by group messages? Messages that are addressed to
everyone rather than to a specific person?
Reading the ingredients listing, this made me curious. Why does it call
for self rising flour (which has baking powder in it, as well as salt), baking powder and baking soda? It sounds like too much leavening. I know you just posted this as is from a cook book, but are other recipies, especially those from baked goods in this cook book heavy on the
leavening? Just curious,
I got this recipe from a cooking blog. So far this is the only recipe from that blog that calls for self-rising flour. I asked that blogger and will follow up when and if they answer.

Title: Country Girl Cherry Pizza
Categories: Pizza
Yield: 4 Servings
1 lb Pizza dough; divided into
- 2 equal portions
1/2 c Pizza sauce; marinara-style
- sauce seasoned with
- oregano; garlic, and chili
- flakes
2 c Whole milk mozzarella
- cheese; shredded
1 c Mexican chorizo; cooked and
- crumbled
1 c Dark cherries; pitted and
- roughly cut -OR-
1/2 c Dried cherries
1/2 c Goat cheese crumbles
1 1/2 ts Fresh rosemary and thyme;
- finely chopped
1/3 c Pecorino Romano cheese;
- grated
Preheat oven to 500?F.
On a lightly floured surface, stretch each piece of dough into a 10"
round. Transfer to a pizza stone or lightly greased baking sheets.
Spread a light layer of pizza sauce on each round, and divide
mozzarella between pies.
Evenly divide chorizo, cherries, and goat cheese between pies.
Bake until cheese has melted and crust is golden, about 8 to
10 minutes.
Carefully remove from the oven then finish the pizzas by sprinkling
with the fresh herbs & Pecorino Romano.
Slice the pizzas and serve...
