But still has to be run on a single core-processor, right?
I am willing to be proven wrong because I have been before.
Bo Nick, if I have been running, as mark says, on a single-core, then I shouldn't have any problem, should I?

If you start Windows Task Manager and it reports more than one CPU
core, then you should be running using the shortcut I created for
you; which tells the mailer to use only one core.
The reason for this, is because the D'Bridge code in how it runs on
NTVDM, which is the Windows DOS service, is not properly supported
for multi-core usage. It appears the system timer is not properly emulated or reported.
The tell-tale sign of this problem is when D'Bridge hangs (freezes) completely at the midnight Auto-Update event. The clock seconds
freeze at zero.
If the problem still occurs with startup delays on Windows 7, then
we need to do troubleshooting as I mentioned before. I am not
seeing anything outright which would be causing this problem to
happen.
If you want to take another shot at my system, you are welcome to, My Intel G2030 is probabaly what made me think it is dual-core. After I
post messages, the system sends the mail to standby and hangs, but any other program I want to run will work.

By 2016 I had issues on end with the old motherboard which I kept
alive with boxes of old parts. I decided that 'enough is eough' and
I bought everything new.
