    I switched my wins 6.2 system to a 64 bit win 8 computer.
    it used to run fine. now the registration info dissapeared.
    and everytime I try to use wcreg to reenter it, it says it is saved.
    but when I run wcreg again to check it, it is all cleared again.
    my reg number is 07-5335
    same number I have been using for years
    hmm, is win 8 blocking the registry?
    and my virus is ms defender. hmm, maybe it is blocking the wins writing
    to the registry. I'll have to try turning it off.

    Ugh! I would NEVER EVER run a BBS under Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 - much

    Then it's not so bad, then :) Especially since I do a good bit of
    wcCODE scripting myself (my board is chock full it running wcBASIC
    applications :) All the way to the menuing system :)

    Nope. You can do things on the web side of the system as well by
    creating WTCs and other wcBASIC stuff that run on the web side.

    Nope. You can do things on the web side of the system as well by
    creating WTCs and other wcBASIC stuff that run on the web side.

    nice. but I heard the manuals are getting very rare now.
    dont even know if they have any left anymore.
    does the compiler work in 64bit?
    if I buy a copy were can I get programming examples?
    like the menus and stuff?

    Yes, from what I can tell. It's a standard Win32 app.
