• Zmodem upload/download tips?

From Kurt Weiske@1:218/700 to All on Wed Apr 15 08:44:00 2020
Has anyone gotten Zmodem downloads working via telnet port emulation on DOSBOX? I'm using DOSBOX SVN-DAUM and telnet emulation works well, but I
can't get uploads or download to work consistently.

what protocol engine are you using for your zmodem?

I'm using SEXYZ on my BBS, whatever is on other BBSes, and using Telix and Telemate in DOSBOX. I've tried 115,200 baud and 57,600 baud.

it is timing related... joho had to relax the timings in frontdoor for zmodem to work properly there... the default timings are expecting data over dedicated lines, not those that may have some delays in them... i don't know how it can be fixed without the source code on both ends...
