    Question,

Votes may now be contested until Saturday, 15 Mar 2025, 20:00 UTC.

    How does this work?

March 15th was already 2 days past when this list was published.

A slip of the pen somewhere?

The article was queued for sending to Bjorn at 7:32 AM EDT (11:32 AM UTC) on Sunday, March 9th. However, probably due to his system problems, it didn't get sent until 7:26 PM EDT (11:26 PM UTC), so it missed his publication deadline.

It was also posted in FTSC_PUBLIC on Saturday, March 8th at 10:57 PM PST (Sunday, March 9th, 6:57 AM UTC) so the voters had ample opportunity to file a challenge if they felt the need to do so.

There are multiple ways how to submit an article for Fidonews. If something "needs" to be published, there are ways to reach the publisher.

It was also posted in FTSC_PUBLIC on Saturday,

Fidonews is the official publication of Fidonet. Theoretically if it didn't get published, it didn't happen.

I was submitting the article in the manner that I previously had arranged with the editor; I was not notified that any change was necessary.

It was also posted in FTSC_PUBLIC on Saturday,

The election was conducted in FTSC_PUBLIC; therefore it is reasonable for the results to be published there as well. It was also submitted to FidoNews; due to circumstances that were beyond my control, it was not received for publication on time.

Maybe for his buddies, yeah. For the unwashed masses, not so much.

    Nobody cares, either way.

I think the critical mass of shit available to stir-up has now dropped below sustainable limits.

I believe you are correct on that. Happy Thursday.
