• Who to believe?

At this time of information age, we get a lot of information that we've never seen the like of it ever before. Unfortunately most of it is misinformation. So how do we choose what to trust?

Well, some people just don't care, "I only watch Fox News" type of ignoramuses, but most of us try to select news from what we believe are trusted media.

But not even in a country like Sweden, where we are supposed to be neutral, can we trust our media. Like almost every other news media, they mostly rely on information from other sources than their own. After all, how many media companies can afford a staff in every single part of the world?

So how can we get the latest news from e.g. Mad Vlad's criminal war on the Ukraine? Well, at least not from your regular media, that's for sure.

I found this incredible news channel on the YouTube, that I have followed from day one, and the more I watch it, the more impressed I get. I'll not gonna say more about it, but just will let you try it out for yourself:

I am still waiting for the main stream media to report that the entire Kiev Oblast now has been freed from the Mad Vlad infestation, and now the Ukrainians are going east and the south to complete the entire cleansing process.

Because ignoramuses only exist in the US? (o_O) I happen to know several here in Canada!

More important is the opinion of anyone who is writing the news stories for any particular outlet. Depending on their particular beliefs, certain facts will be downplayed or accentuated.

For instance, if you were to believe CBC, we're all (even the *pope*!) uber-racist sex maniacs with absolutely no respect for women, or gays, or trans, or blacks, or natives (or news outlets). *Everyone* is getting arrested for sexual misconduct, and there's chaos in the streets. And that's because the person choosing the stories lives to create dissent.

Don't limit yourself to *one* point of view when looking for information. Other than your own, obviously. (o_-)

Don't hold your breath. I doubt the end is so close.
