    Hello All!

I am going to try and explain this the best I can. One of the nodes that I serve made a areafix request for "Eric" (does not exist on my feed) I was notified of the request and that it was not carried, all good. However over the next few days I started receiving that same message from areafix coming from every single node that I host, even from my hub itself? So I guess my question is, is this normal behavior? Is this something I need to fix somewhere, and if so any ideas what it may be?

    Regards,

    Rick

As you have not specified what s/w you are using I cannot be specific BUT

The request to your system if not available and you have the correct settings will pass the request to your Uplink.

It should NOT involve and other of your links up or down.

Of course if you have more than one uplink the request could go out to each of them unless you have specified links for groups of echo or file areas such as by network type i.e., fidonet, fmly or what ever.
