It looks like the domain is down. Shame, it was nice having a (read-only) archive outside of my BBS to check on messages, history, etc.
Does anyone know the owner of the domain? I'd love to see if they'd be willing to pass on hosting of the site to someone else.

I'm not certain but I think it is Andrew Clarke who runs ozzmosis.com.

I alwas had mixed feelings about ozzmosis. Yes, sometimes it is an easyway
retrieve something someone said. OTOH, I do not like my Fidonet postingsto
out on the internet readable by all. One very nice thing about Fidonet is it is NOT the Internet. If I want my rants to be readable on theInternet,
can post it there myself. I want what I post om Fidonet to stay inFidonet.

I may strongly disagree with some things you have stated in the past, but agree 100% here.

Once you his the "send" key you have lost control of the message.
Only difference now is that a user has to login to a BBS using the web interface to see the same messages.
My main problem with ozzmosis and similar sites is that it makes Fidonetmessages searchable and indexable by Google et al.

There is a big difference, the messages on a login BBS are not
indexed by search engines, like Google.

Some say if the site is setup properly search engines can be blocked,

I might be wrong but I think I don't need a robot.txt file with Wildcat but will find out.
Thanks.

You don't have to have one but you should have one Terry with WC.
