I have three JamNNTPd's running in 32bit systems. They all work fine.

Crikey-Moses! You're not having any good luck. If it's your own
compile, and you're actually replying to Tommi's message, then your
JamNNTPd is not honouring the Fidonet bits. That's something I noticed
in a previous message too.
When I looked around for a binary back in 2011 to run in Xubuntu/32
10.04 LTS, I put aside the newly-compiled binary and went back to using
an older project I did in Puppy Liunx 4.12 (Linux 2.6.xx). It worked... properly.
It worked... properly.
Can you tell me how to compile 32bit executable in 64bit Linux ?
(Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.4.0-159-generic x86_64))
Or if I compile jamnntpd in 32bit i386 system, will it run in 64bit
x86_64 linux?
I was also using Puppy-compiled binaries for CrashMail (before FMail32/lnx), rather than new compiles. They work especially well in 32bit VMs too.
Can I interest you in some old favourites?

WTF! Still an empty to line with JamNNTPd!
What version of JamNNTPD executable is this?
I just noticed that there is no ^AREPLY kludge in his message.

Naaa, thank you but I have to do it in the new architecture, I have to win. :)

I built it from 1.3 sources.
This is another option:install the
It' simple, you have to add the i386 architecture to the system and
i386 libraries needed by the binary you want to run, for debian based distributons you have to do this:
dpkg --add-architecture i386
apt update
apt install libc6-i386
now you can run ia32 binaries on a amd64 system. :)

Yes! That is my mantra also. 'I will always win.' Good man!
I built it from 1.3 sources.
From the SourceForge repository? I think they made some pretty style fixes but introduced new instability issues. I suggest you return to
the v1.0/1.1 sources from Johan.

Italian virgin oil
Hey! Don't forget that I'm twice the barbarian since I also prefer Swedish cold pressed rapeseed oil over Italian virgin oil! 8-)
Hey! That's our -tropical- speciality here, too!

Wow never noticed, It's changed in my reply to your message with the 32
bit jamnntpd 1.3.
I hate to say that Bjorn was right, the 1.0 is the only working one. :D
Also with your latest reply with 1.0.
There is something weird in this! Fido is an ancient technology and Cthulhu is teaching us that is not good to mess with ancient things! :PI hate to say that Bjorn was right, the 1.0 is the only workingNot true. 1.3 works perfect when compiled in 32bit OS/2 and 32bit Windows, as well as in 32bit Raspberry PI2 / Ubuntu. There is
one. :D

Say the truth, you had the Kadaitcha Man at dinner yesterday evening. :P

Not really. I'm normally too busy reading taglines or origins, than
