I put together an audio quiz for ALL:
https://kolico.ca/fidonet/echos/memories/ name%20that%20artist%20and%20cd.mp3
The short url = https://tinyurl.com/y3jxndbw
It is a mashup of 7 intros of tunes, the 8th being a reprise of the
1st sample. Total time, 3 minutes.
Can you name the Artist, and the specific recording? All tunes are
from the same recording.
Unfortunately, my computer can't do that sort of thing.... but I saw Joe
went and checked it out...

Just copy the link and plop it into your browser.
I notice that some browsers will auto-load a "player" and try to play
the file. Others would provide a download option for the .mp3 file.
It's recorded with at least 320kbps and stereo.
Just copy the link and plop it into your browser.
My computer uses DOS... the operating system that came before Windows...
to copy the link, I have to use pencil and paper, and to "plop it into
my browser" I have to type it into the Go to line...
I'm using Lynx... a text web browser... I guess it does have a download
option for an .mp3 file... But in DOS I don't have a way to stream
audio...

That sounds like it would also likely be too big a file for me to
download... I rarely have more than 2MB, if that, head space on this
computer...

Whoa! I remember using Lynx in my earlier internet/dialup days. I suppose pure-text browsing can still have a place in this world.

The original 320 kbps .mp3 file is about 7MB :( Sorry!
I have produced two more versions of the file and generated short urls: 128 kbps, 2.9MB - https://tinyurl.com/y2d7jj27
64 kbps, 1.5MB - https://tinyurl.com/y6zzutez
..both still in stereo.
Hope you can give them a listen!
