I have a new favorite version of the New Orleans blues classic St. James Infirmary.
My previous favorite cover of this song was by Arlo Guthrie who performed it often in concert (the bet of which was on the In Times Like These tour which is backed by a syphony orchestra).
If you are not familiary with Hugh Laurie he is an acomplished British actor (House on House MD.), and blues/jazz musician.
The arrangement is well put together, and Hugh's vocals and piano playing is on point.
