And I did that as well... BTW, I run a Synchronet Game Server and I tried to connect to it via SSH and it choked as well.

Wow, is it possible that the version you are trying to use is really old OR really new that it is not compatible? I think I tried 3.4.6 and it did not work with Mystic (Linux version). Try getting the one off the Mystic Wiki, I think that one is like 3.4.3 or 3.4.4. On the wiki page it mentions a Micro$oft c++ run time You probably have already taken a look at the wiki, but
not then give it a shot and you might fix your issue...
