Bernie Sanders?? He enriched himself during the election process... paid his wife millions as a staffer. Where is this Democrat that hasn't have rich donors attached to them... Never mind Democrat, politician whatever flavor... MTG in the interview with Tucker talks about this exact topic... She raises money one dollar at a time... because lobbyists want nothing to do with h, and her with them. We should get rid of these lobbyists and get the candidates to work for their fund raising.

There are no Democrats in todays party that hold old JFK style liberal values... They are all Globalists, War Mongers, Neo-Socialists and whatnot...

That eliminates the campaign "war chest". That eliminates being beholden to people who donate. They finish their term with $40-60 million dollars in the bank - enough to comfortably live off of for the rest of their lives without any kind of "help" from donors.

And $10 million/year per congress critter really wouldn't impact the budget either.

My argument against this is that while it reduces incentive to bribe and such. For the people who are power hungry, it won't do anything. And that's our real problem right now.

They have restrictive election laws in Chinada... Some years ago a member of parliament from my hometown lost his seat because he used some of his own money during his reelection... It was a small sum of money in comparison to US politics none the less... He was going to fight it... The PM at the time said he was going to table a vote to remove his pension... and he ran like a little bitch. BTW, said person even spent a couple months in jail on crime.

Can you imagine if the US dealt with their elected officials in the same manner... They'd need to build a bigger prison to house them.

I'm sure Trump can get done what he needs to in 4 years... he doesn't need 16. If they don't JFK him or do the same thing the CIA did to Nixon... Trump needs to get rid of the Department of Education, send it back to the states and local government to run. He needs to purge the DOJ and FBI whereby he decentralizes the FBI. There has to be an open process of J6 where records aren't destroyed right after the report is released... The list goes on and on...
