But as for Leticia James, she shouldn't have had any federal security clearance in the first place. It makes me wonder who else has access to federal data and shouldn't.
Aside from removing your AG's access, most of the people who lost access were likely going to lose it anyway so announcing it like it is some big accomplishment is not really news. It is, as your subject line suggests,
useless crap that didn't warrant the administration bragging about it.
The Biden part seems significant. He is the only former president who won't be
receiving intelligence briefings.

There is some significance to that, indeed, but with his declining mental condition, I am not so sure it is as significant as we might believe. OTOH, it would not be bad for this administration to at least consult
with some members of the previous one.
I don't know why an AG would need it. Other departments would need it. You do realize that, when you file your taxes electronically, your state receives a copy of your Federal tax return data, right? I don't know about NY, but Kentucky uses some of the federal forms (like Schedule C
and maybe F) to reduce the redundancy of forcing a taxpayer to fill out the exact same data twice, and to reduce the redundancy (and cost) of maintaining the exact same tax forms.

Could there be a single memebr of Biden's administration who wouldn't
take the opportunity to sabotage the country? Possibly, but it seems
like Trump is distancing himself from the previous administration as a precaution and not because of a grudge.
They do that here too, so if Leticia wanted Trump's tax info, she could probably get it from the state's dept of revenue. I'm more concerned
about her getting her paws on information that pertains to security
and/or elections. She'd sell us out if she had the chance.

Well after trusting Fauci in 2019, I would assume that Trump would treat everyone from a previous Regime to be hostile until proven otherwise.

I can't think of a single reason why a STATE officer would need that
level of access to NATIONAL security information.

Maybe if it was a good administration. The current one is shaping up
very nicely. The next president should consider keeping a lot of these people (especially Musk) on speed dial.
Leticia James is the piece of trash who charged then ex-president Trump with fraud, but in related news, I've personally reported people for welfare fraud (because they victimized my disabled loved one) and
Leticia James never did anything about it.

Of course she didn't. That wasn't their plan.
And keeping people dependent on welfare was part of their plan.

There's logic in that, but I don't get why they wouldn't want to stop peasants from taking a piece of their pie.

Because it's not their pie. They took their piece out at tax collection time. The payouts happen after that.
The Elitists want a return to feudal times where they are the "lords"
and the rest of us are serfs.
To that end, they want to create a dependent class. People pay in. The Elitists take their cut. Then whatever is left is doled out to the
serfs. But never enough for them to get out of being a serf.
