    I don't know what you guys did to this guy but he's posting
    on the shitty bbs reddit ALL OVER complaining about you "elite synchronet gurus" who refused to help him and tell him to "read the wiki"

    how dare you. how dare you.

    I said reading the wiki and learning by doing is a good way to do things... guess what i got! a downvote! :{

    then i told him about sexpots and he referred me to his previous synchronet bashing. now a day later, just 25 mins ago he's thanking someone to pointing him to sexpots.

    you guys need to shape up or you're going to chase away good people!

    I blocked him and deleted my helpful comments.

    ehh.. I happened to see that, and saw you also mention to him something about if you can't read the wiki/documentation and learn from it, then maybe BBSing isn't a hobby for him, and if someone like you can set up and run BBS then anyone can.

    It's not AI, it's someone else's message bases indexed by Google and available online instead of looking at my own local message bases.


    it's true, maybe our search needs to be expanded. recently i was able to find old posts where i asked for help with an issue. it was more difficult using the synchronet text search commands. it wasn't THAT difficult. perhaps the search feature needs to be more robust.

    It's a community and I suppose that's the way it works. You'd be
