If I use telnetdoor to connect to a gameserver running sbbs, the first time a user connects they are asked for a user name and location. After that first time everything works as expected. Also, the password can't be the same as
the user name. Is there sny way around this? I think sbbs and mystic systems don't experience those issues. I am specifying the xtrn.code properly.

I'm not familiar with "telnetdoor". Do you not have the option of
specifying the RLogin parameters (including the client-name, which Synchronet uses for the user password)? -- digital man (rob)
