• Restrict Message Area or Subs from QWK

From WitNik@1:103/705 to All on Fri Jan 15 19:24:39 2021
    All,

Is there a way to flag a message area or a sub to prevent it from being available for QWK download even if the user is able to access/read the conference?

Use case: Disable a message area or subs from being available offline.

    Thanks,
    -WitNik

There is not. I suppose a "QWK" ARS keyword could be added for that use case if you want to submit a feature request at https://gitlab.synchro.net/main/sbbs/-/issues

Of course, "offline" can mean a lot of things these days, so you might also want to exclude access via NNTP or HTTP. Can't really prevent a terminal user from "capturing" the text sent to their terminal however.
