I know this probably come up often, but I am having trouble setting thisup.
I read the wikis on SBBSEcho, Binkit and Tickit and I thought I had it set up right. I found a great article from Lord Time, but it was from 1996. Something differrent something same.poll.
I can send and receive Netmail and I connect to the right place when I
But I get nothing from my connection (1:396/45). I checked my sbbsecho.log, and this is what I get:1:396/45
<Date> <Time> Invalid Area File line, expected link address(es) after echo tag:
'Fido_ECH_OName ECH_OName FidoNet'
I checked my Echocfg. In the last secion called Echo List, I put in

That's all it has.
Any ideas? What else do you need to help me out?

Are you saying that the last night is verbatim from your areas.bbs file? It's supposed to have the Fido echolist name, the name of the echo onyour
BBS, and a list of Fidonet addresses of your uplinks and downlinks. One message area per line.

It was pretty close, except with more echoes.
I went back today, and reran the areas.bbs in SCFG. I put in the uplink, and it added it! I don't have any downlinks, so it is blank there.
Now to find out if I need to areafix the echoes I want, or if he turned them all on and give him a poll.
Thanks, you noticed it first.
