I am have a problem getting the web-tel feature working. This is what I see in the log:
2/22 02:05:02p 1756 WS connection accepted from: 192.168.0.1 port 54087
2/22 02:05:12p 1756 WS Unable to connect to server at localhost:20
in the staus bar (ftelnet) it says: Connected to paladium.servebbs.com:1123 then
times out with: unable to connect to server.

I have looked in the ini files but I just cant find anything that is stopping it
from connecting to the server.

I am running 3.17b at paladium.servebbs.com:20 for the telnet and :88 for the web.

Interface, TelnetInterface, and TelnetPort in sbbs.ini may be important here.

If you run a telnet client *on your server* and try to connect to port 20 of localhost, does it work? If not, figure out why, and you'll probably solve this problem while you're at it.

Thanks for the quick reply - I ended up just adding the server IP to the websocketservice -> TargetHostname = line... All seems well thanks again for heading me in the right direction. P.S. I did try editing my HOST file with no luck.
