    How does a BBS get on the Synchronet Tag lines?

    Not sure what you mean by that. Adding tag lines to your messages?

    I think they are a Synchronet feature Here's some examples
    If you use a reader you won't see them. I also thing they are random but not sure.

    The stock Synchronet reader outputs a random tag line after a message? Seems like a strange place for a tag line if it's not part of the message..

    He's confusing "tag lines" with his default system "origin
    line"...

    That's normal. When you post on your BBS, Synchronet only adds those when sending messages out to the network, so you're not going to see those for messages posted from your BBS. You should see those on your BBS in messages imported from other BBSes though.

    Those are other people's, and your, QWK origin lines. You set that in SCFG.
