Ive been trying to join micronet for awhile. Email doesnt connect maybe an old email address, logged onto his board and left him a message (no response) tried the init-fidonet.js way and appears that its not connecting to send the app probably because he wouldnt have me setup on his end since Im applying for a node number. Anyone have any ideas how I can get him my app?
Fido-style mailers can normally receive netmail from anyone. They don't need to be "setup on his end". That's what the temp node number (e.g. */9999) is all about. But specifically with Micronet, I don't know. I know Sean Dennis active on FidoNet echoes and Facebook. Perhaps you can contact him on one of those mediums and ask for assistance. I would like feedback from Sean or Andrew Leary on why the init-fidonet.js method didn't work for their network.
