I just imported a bunch of files with long filenames into a file area using a FILES.BBS. I notice that this time none of them are showing as online and the filenames are kind of messed up.
For example - some of my directories files are behaving as I expected and are showing as on-line:
AliensMovieScript.txt is showing as ALIENS~1.TXT
The ones I just imported, are showing offline, and the long filenames are messed up:
DeadMeatPodCastEpisode1.mp3 is showing as DeadMead.Pod
I've reimported several times and it's the same thing each time,

Maybe 2 weeks ago? Only other change I've made other than updating tolatest
build is moving my podcast transfer areas from c: to p: (which is a USB drive)
Maybe that's it then: a different file system used on the USB drive. I think USB drives often use exFAT while hard-disks and SSDs are usually NTFS (on Windows). exFAT does not support support short filenames:
