This is a bizzare happening. I cant access the ftp section on my
bbs using firefox, chrome or edge IE shows page cannot be displayed. I
can on the otherhand use ftpx and access it. Are there files missing
or is there a setting that I am not setup right to use the web browser
to view files?

Nothing bizarre about it - modern browsers no longer support the FTP protocol.

Most browsers have removed FTP capability. I use FileZilla for any FTP transfers...mainly for sbbs_dev and sbbs_run files. I figured I'd grab them today, since it was time for another Windows 2nd Tuesday update.

That's something I find a bit bizzare.. Files have been hosted
via FTP for a long time. I think I heard something like they
think FTP hosting is a security risk now, or something?

On another note, your CAPTCHA utility is working beautifully. :)

Having FTP support in a web browser is nice, as you can just click on
the link and download the file, the same as a file hosted via HTTP.
