Hi all,
Have been looking over the documentation in the wiki and in the twitlist file itself, and have not definitively found out whether a user being added to the twitlist can have a system name attached to them. It seems that one can add any user name they list, but I'm concerned that if a user of the same name showed up from a different system, the twitlist could filter them out as well.
Does user@qwkname work?
Does user@FTN work?

Great, is there anything that *does* work? If there's 'Bobby' on System A and another 'Bobby' on System B, how do we prevent filtering out all 'Bobby's?

If you update to the latest development build you should be able to use the user@qkwname or user@FTN syntax in your twitlist.cfg
file. Try it out and let me know how it works for you, please.

One item I've now noticed is that prior to this change, putting USER in the twitlist resulted in messages both From and To being filtered out to matching USER. With the USER@NODE bit in there, only From is being filtered on (or matched, anyway).
True. QWKnet and FTN public messages do not have a "destination" address to match to, so there would be no "NODE" to use in
"USER@NODE" matching. Such syntax could work for filtering netmail (private messages, in theory), but I don't think that's what
you're asking for.
