However, when I send the password back, it's using the C:line password for cvs and vert, basically my qwk password, rather than what is configured in the C/N lines for sestar.

While I'm sure the sysop of sestar is rather trustworthy, even my wife doesn't know my qwk password :smile:

First, the N:line password on sestar did not match the C:line password that was being sent from me, so the connection should never have been established in the first place.

Also, once the N:line password was set to * on sestar, we still could not establish a connection.

Unfortunately, "reset by peer" doesn't give much of an indication as to why the connection was closed.

This doesn't make any sense at all. My server (192.138.210.158) should not be making an outbound tcp/ip connection to sestar.synchro.net. The Y:line is not configured with a connect frequency and the C:line does not have a port configured for autoconnect. This looks like a definite bug in 1.10.

BTW, for the record, we tried adding my qwk password that is being sent to the N:line on sestar with the same result.

The whole server<>leaf connect thing needs a workover.
