  • Yankees/Rednecks dosemu

    hey fellow syncops, anyone setup yankees n rednecks door recently under dosemu/linux?

    I set it up in the past with no issues, but this time it's getting me.. It is techically running.. it comes up as a black foreground and black background on my telnet console under syncterm because I can take my mouse and highlicht the screem like i'm goint to cut/copy then I see the text with a black/blue colorscheme. there was another game that did this once that i just gave up on, but this really bugs me because I've set it up before and had no issues..

    tia to anyone who my know what the deal is..

    When requesting help with doors, please give a download link. I'm not going to go chasing for a file and maybe not even download the same version.

    I'm not asking for anyone to download the door, I'm just asking if anyone has encountered this issue with this, or any other particular door.. if not, thats cool.. but I would'nt expect anyone to try to setup a door to see what an issue is.. thats a bit far fetched.. its not that important to me.. it just bugs me a bit..

    Well, we all have different setups with dosemu or dosemu2 and I've got pretty much everything to run on my setup so by posting a link, those who may wish to try and it for themselves to either help confirm your issue or give you some pointers can. There is only one door that I'm having problems with out of maybe 40-50 dos doors I'm running.

    I have installed plenty of doors that others have issues with to try and assist.

    about the same here, ynr is really the only problem I've run up on that I havent been able to figure out, and whats messed up is I used to run it on just about the same setup with no issues, Im runinng dosemu/freedos setup the stupid thing runs, it's just showing up as black text on a black background so it makes it look like othing is coming up on the output unless you highlight the text with your mouse.. crazy..

    Works fine for me.

    Using dosemu2 with Ubuntu using my dosemu2 instructions that are on the wiki along with links to configs that just work.

    thats cool, I'm not risking breaking all the 40 or so some odd other dos doors I have installed to get this one going under my setup.. not telling what it is.. thanks for sharing..
