Sinfully Spicy Apple Pie
WARNING! This green chile apple pie is addictive and you will be
enslaved to the green sweet heat! Try at your own risk of never eating a plain apple pie ever again.
w0w; this sounds just amazing, dude. While I don't know that I'll be whipping one up - I am adding it to my [very small] book of recipes. I love New Mexico Green Chile's [red, green or christmas?] and I've never heard of using them in a pie. OMG.

2 cups Hatch Green Chile, Roasted, Peeled, and Chopped
I've never heard of Hatch Chilies before, but we do have "green chilies" in the grocery store here, I'll have to see if they're the same thing. (Or if they could be used as a substitute).
Reminds me of when we visited Chicago a few years back and I got the classic Chicago dog several times complete with "sport" peppers. Nope, can't find those in Canada at all (at least anywhere I've looked).
If I don't make the pie I will atleast make the filling and eat it! I
love hatch chiles.
My wife and I have a good friend in Rio Ranch that we visit occasionally if we head west in our motorhome. Having spent some time there, Ii know how important that chili peppers are to your community! Even in the
fast food restaurants.
Oh yes. That's why the common question here is "Red, Green, or
Christmas?" It's all about the chile!
Next time you head this way, let me know. We can go out for dinner or something.
