You would need to find a free zone to use, and do it the same as it's
    done in fidonet or fsxnet.

There are a lot of details and niggles in an FTN network setup. I would
suggest you join a few networks and see how it's done and get a good
grasp of FTN networking before you set out on your own.

We don't have the numbers today that we did in 1995 so I think you should
give all that a good ponder before proceeding.

There are a number of good nets around, have a look in the fsx_bots or fidonet's othernets area and look into joining some existing nets.

    http://wiki.mysticbbs.com/doku.php?id=config_echomail_addresses http://wiki.mysticbbs.com/doku.php?id=config_echomail_nodes

Then you need to create a nodelist, see the official spec for reference:

    http://ftsc.org/docs/fts-5000.005
    http://ftsc.org/docs/fts-5001.006

and add it to MUTIL.INI http://wiki.mysticbbs.com/doku.php?id=mutil_merge_node_lists

At the moment I would not recommend Mystic for running a network or a hub, but that's only my opinion.

NuSkooler posted this link a while back..

    https://goo.gl/T6dC7F

It's a google doc if I remember right, and NuSkooler asked folks to
update that file if needed. It's not the only list out there and is only
as accurate as the info folks post there.

You can see what zones are being used and pick on for your net.

Also update that list with your zone if you do that.

It's the best list I've seen, other than lists harvested from BinkP session info. :)
