Just as the subject says. I was hoping to get one of the *Trader games going (I know that Tradewars 2000 has been a no-go for a very long time...) Maybe Yankee Trader? I see Avon has Galactic Dynasty running but I can't get it to compile, for the life of me. Anyone have any pointers?

Also, does anyone remember Mech Wars?

I have read but have no experience that Trade Wars works under dosemu2.

I think Galactic Dynasty requires lua, do you have that installed?

I just downloaded Mech Wars a couple of days ago.. still haven't had time to play with it =( I was one of my favorites.

Interesting! I think I found a great swolution since I'm running on a underpowered RPi Zero-W... I am using DoorParty and RLogin to their server. Once I got it all sorted, it seems pretty seamless! I've got Tradewars2002 and Mech Wars running in a small amount of time once I was approved.

I'd highly suggest!

Given the decrease in calls to BBSes, door servers are a great idea. I'm tempted to get rid of all of my local games and leave the server-based
games. Local door games are the only 16-bit and dependency my BBS has; most everything else runs in the Synchronet Javascript environment.

I *do* need to see if I can get DOSemu or DOSBOX to run my nodelist tools, though.
