  • Nodelist Question - Need Help

    I cannot figure this out ... Help ??

    I have a message base called MicroNET and I am receiving the weekly Nodelist
    in a ZIP file going to a directory /MIN_LIST The ZIP File Name is MICRONET.ZIP .... Inside that ZIP file is actually the weekly nodelist called micronet.###

    In my nightly event mutil maint.ini it is looking for the file micronet.### in a directoy called c:\mystic\files\Micro_Node\micronet

    The maint.ini line is nodefile=c:\mystic\files\Micro_Node\micronet

    Now the issue is when I receive the weekly nodelist it is in the .ZIP file in the /MIN_LIST and NOT in the correct directory as a file name micronet.###

    So, when the nightly maint.ini is run and it is looking to merge nodelists, it is simply not where it is supposed to be and Micornet noded never gets updated.

    How do I get that nodefile out of the .ZIP that it arrives in and into the correct directory so the nodelists can be processed by my lightly event.

    I don't think this matters, but make sure your slashes match the OS you are running, you say you have the files going to /MIN_LIST, try it as c:\MIN_LIST or whatever the full path is to your directory.. Also you need to have ZIP and UNZIP in your path also, when the maint utility runs at night it calls unzip to unzip the files to a temp path and pull the latest nodelist out of it to merge into the main nodelist. When I was running Windows version I put it in 3 places (your mileage may vary here) in the main Mystic Directory I had which was c:\mystic and c:\windows\system and c:\windows\system32 both of those directories are in the path and would pull up zip and unzip from any directory.. Give that a shot, hopefully it helps you out..
