I'm running on a Pi, which makes doors challenging. I'm still going to see

And given how relatively small the BBS community is now, there just aren't enough players left for everyone to run their own copies of LORD or TW2K. Better to aggregate them, methinks.

Thanks! I've registered and fired off an application. I'm an Infocom fanatic, and I see you've got a number of Infocom games already. I'll finally have Zork in a door.

Correction: You'll have Zork with your own personal saves nobody else can access =)

Processed your app, and replied. You're all set! If you have any issues
    setting up, just lemme know.

I can't connect to the Doorparty network anymore. Is it still
    active?

Also, I can't pull any of the files from the FSX_NET file
network. Can someone tell me the exact settings I need
in Mystic in order to do that? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's still up and active. I just tried it from my BBS and all is good.

If you've recently just come back, I believe there was a time, not too long ago, where he switched his server over to Mystic completely. If my memory serves, I had to make a minor adjustment on my end to continue the service.

Your best bet is probably just to re-apply, or contact maskreet again to fix it and/or start fresh with the latest settings/setup.

There is no pulling with file areas, you just receive new files as they are hatched.

Check with Filefix and be sure you are connected to the areas you want to be connected to.

You should receive a new nodelist and infopack weekly at least, and possibly others if you are connected.

Yessir. Are you seeing any messages when you try and connect? I only changed the server software, but the authentication server is still the same, so there shouldn't be any issues with authenticating, or really any issues with connecting to the DoorParty server itself.

Lemme know what your BBS telnet address is, I tried the one you had listed on signup but it doesn't connect (woofer.v6.rocks)

You're right. I think what I should do is just apply again
and start from scratch. Thanks for the info.

address or something. My Telnet address is still woofer.v6.rocks:8888.
You have to have that port 8888 on there. Sorry. And sometimes it takes 2-3 attempts to log in. I think my computer is old and cranky.

Please try my board once more. If all esle fails, I will reapply
    and start from scratch. Thanks.

Tried about 10 times, didn't connect, and even checked the port to see if it was open and the tool told me it was closed.

You don't need to reapply if you haven't changed anything on your end, and even if you have you shouldn't need to. We can figure this out.

Shoot me an email to sysop@throwbackbbs.com and I'll help you get running again.
