Anyone know how to make the "everything" search utility _ex_clude something (and remember that)?found it, so the everything window shows it too.
I would prefer to exclude .lnk files. When I "run" a file (e. g. am mp3) from everything's search results (or almost anywhere else, such as File Manager), a .lnk appears in my Recent - fair enough, but of course it also matches the search criteria that

Are you sure? I put in the exclude box *.lnk and I think it worked.

I was _nearly_ there: I had put
.lnk
in the exlcude box. Turns out that putting
*.lnk
worked!

I can't find the exclude box. Where is it?
Tools | Options | "Exclude" is third from bottom on left | "Exclude
files" is then bottom on right.
(That's in "Version 1.4.1.1026 (x86)", but probably the same in most.
[I just tried "check for updates" and it said it was the latest.])
