    Thanks for that. Reading it:

"Once installed, open the Copilot app and sign in using your personal
Microsoft Account." So presumably it only works if you have one. (AFAIK,
    I don't.)

"You can bring up Copilot at any time in Windows by quickly pressing Alt
+ Spacebar." I tried that, and just got the top-left-click menu, so
presumably I _don't_ have Copilot installed.[]
Copilot Vision on Windows is currently available in the US only through
    the Copilot on Windows app.

    Does that mean

it's only available in the US (and then only through the app)

    or

in the US, it's only available through the app

W11 so not relevant to me anyway.)>
    Wow. And/or Exciting.

I doubt that list is even remotely complete.

How big a PC collection do you have ?

    I know you've got a W7 laptop.

I think we're possibly past the point of buying PCs now.
The refurbs aren't worth it, and the new stuff is too expensive.

I guess that is why there is "sudden interest" in these.

small boxes. You don't particularly want DDR4, unless the
machine already sports max-RAM (DDR4 is out of production
and the price shot up to 3X normal recently).

They usually have a laptop blower in them, as the thing
