Still seeing a lot of negative reports, even after 17.1. Is it just the

Is there something about your phone or tablet running whatever version
of iOS you've got that iOS 17 will improve?
Is there some new feature you need or want?
I tell my clients all the time:
If it's not broke, don't fix it.

My favored Navigation app broke under iOS 17, but came back to life with
the iOS 17.1 update. I'm happy.

I waited until 17.01. My favorite backgammon game (XG Gammon) broke. And worst of all, the default notification sound changed to something imperceptible with no way to change it. It went from Tritone to Redoubt. Unless a third party app has its own notification sound there’s no way to change it to something you can hear now.

I'd like the better autocorrect which isn't quite so prissy.

I know, but in order to get the security updates you do have to upgrade eventually.
We're not there yet as we've just got 16.7.2. Is there going to be a 16.7.3 together with 17.2?

Ya, ios 17 was a real turd. Still is at 17.1.
Not only the sounds, but there are other problems that some may
not have noticed. For example, things under accesibility/zoom
are also fubared. Passwords fucks up randomly.
They'll get everything fixed by 17.8, just in time to fuck it
again up for V18.

Apparently that's been fixed in 17.1. There's a mention in the changelog.

That changed with *17.1* back to the old sound and volume.

I ended up buying a wireless charger on a stand
