A recently retired FBI supervisory agent told Congress behind closed doors Monday that the bureau tipped off Joe Biden's team and the Secret Service in late 2020 about a plan to interview Hunter Biden in his criminal tax probe, corroborating allegations
    from two IRS whistleblowers.

"The night before the interview of Hunter Biden, both Secret Service headquarters and the Biden transition team were tipped off about the planned interview," Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky. said. "On the day of the Hunter Biden interview, federal
agents were told to stand by and could not approach Hunter Biden—they had to wait for his call. As a result of the change in plans, IRS and FBI criminal investigators never got to interview Hunter Biden as part of the investigation.

So toads....you feeling the heat yet?

Not at all. The called-off interview is old news and attributable to
concern that an ambush at Hunter's house would lead to unwanted
publicity at a time when the investigation was secret.

You'll recall the Secret Service was given warning before the Mar-A-Lago search.

    From June 29:

    https://www.vox.com/2023/6/29/23772637/hunter-biden-whistleblowers-irs-merrick-garland

...the Washington Post had published an article extensively describing
the thinking of certain “agents” on the Hunter Biden investigation,
saying these agents had concluded there was sufficient evidence to
charge him. The article made clear the agents had come to this
conclusion months ago, implying the holdup was prosecutors’ fault. There
had been minor leaks before, but this one was quite detailed, it came
about a month before the 2022 midterms, and it seemed transparently from
an internal source and designed to try to force prosecutors’ hand...

Later in October, DOJ asked Shapley and the IRS agent to provide their
internal documents and emails about the case for discovery purposes.
Both professed outrage over this, saying such a thing was highly unusual
    at the supervisor level...

Afterward, Shapley and the IRS team were essentially cut out of the loop
on the investigation going forward and were eventually officially
removed from it. “We were told that the prosecutors had found some
emails that concerned them if they could actually charge the case,” the
    IRS agent testified.

But putting these tidbits together, it appears to me [Andrew Prokop]
that there are the seeds of another story here — one in which the pre-midterms leak destroyed DOJ’s trust in the IRS team, and in which,
after investigating, they found concerning emails of some unspecified
    nature.

Uh-oh. Using the legalistic word "search" is likely to trigger an Shmoo-plosion.
The only MAGA-approved terms are "raid" and "invasion".

You keep using that line....it's getting old.
Having been reported before doesn't make it irrelevant.

It does affect whether there's increasing heat as you wish to be so.

You probably think crimes committed before the statute of limitations expires are really crimes.

No, those are crimes. Hunter should definitely pay up and plead to

What about the credibility of the whistleblowers? What if their email
