• Magnetic Spring

From Bob La Londe@21:1/5 to All on Wed Aug 9 16:30:30 2023
I was looking at some advertising on Facebook while sitting in a parking
lot waiting earlier today. A product that caught my eye was a fishing
tool for trimming line among other things.

One of the things in the "features list" was "Magnetic springs that
never wear out. Of course magnets can wear out, but I instantly thought
that was a clever way to achieve something with a different method.

There was a kit for adding a magnetic trigger return spring to the
Crosman 2300 series CO2 pistols awhile back. Couldn't find one for sale
to learn more. Think the seller got cold feet and once it was published
decided it wasn't worth the risk...

Thought it was a clever idea for that too😉
