I've cut 2 of the depth mike rods so far , easier than I thought it
would be to adjust them . I'm getting them close right now . It's pretty
hot out in the shop and I know the adjustment isn't "precise" . I'll get
all the bits and pieces down to the loading bench and let them stabilize overnight then do a final tune . The temp down in the cellar is more
stable and a bit cooler than the rest of the house .

Yeah, but as soon as you pick them up they will start to grow.
