• Thou Shalt Not Bicycle

From Daryl Stout@316:36/20 to All on Wed Aug 4 00:04:32 2021
Two preachers in a small country town were having lunch at a local restaurant. One turned to the other, and commented that he looked very
    upset.

The depressed minister explained that he thought that one of his
congregation had stolen the bicycle that he used to get around town
with, and it had really become a hardship to get anywhere. The other
minister told him that the next Sunday, he should preach a sermon on
The Ten Commandments. When he got to "Thou Shalt Not Steal", the
Spirit of Conviction will fall so heavily on the perpetrator, that
he'd confess to his sin, and the preacher would get his bicycle back.

Thinking that was a great idea, they both looked forward to the next
Sunday. Sunday came and went, and the two preachers met up again...and
    this was their conversation:

Preacher 1: "How did it go, Sunday?".

Preacher 2: "Well, not like I thought it would".

Preacher 1: "What do you mean?? Didn't you preach the sermon on The
    Ten Commandments??".

Preacher 2: "Yes, I did...but, I never made it to 'Thou Shalt Not
Steal', When I got to 'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery', I remembered
where I had left the bicycle".
