A couple was arranging for their wedding, and asked
the bakery to inscribe the wedding cake with "1 John
    4:18" which reads

"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear."

The bakery evidently lost, smudged or otherwise misread
the noted reference, and beautifully inscribed on the cake
    "John 4:18" ...

"for you have had five husbands, and the man you have now
    is not your husband."

A couple went to a pastor to see if he'd marry them in
his church. The future groom asked the pastor to place
the words "Love, Honor, and Obey" in the marriage vows.
Curious, the preacher asked why...and the reply was "I
do everything my fiancee' says, and she wants this in
    there".

After that response, the pastor said that he would marry
the couple in his church...provided that they remained
abstinent from sexual relations until the wedding night.
    The couple agreed to it.

Shortly before the wedding day, the couple came back,
and confessed that they had failed. The future groom
lamented that "he saw his future bride on a stool to
change a light bulb...and when he looked under her
skirt, passion struck him, and he made love to her".

The pastor told them that because of that, he could not
marry them in his church. The future groom said that
"he couldn't blame him for the decision...the folks at
Home Depot weren't too happy about it, either".

A nervous groom at the wedding altar asked the preacher
"Is it kisstomary to cuss the bride??".

The preacher replied "Not yet...but soon".
