I just saw a video of someone who went to the top of The Gateway Arch in St. Louis. I'm not a fan of heights although being inside it probably would not bother me too much, but that little elevator car thing you have to ride up in would be a no go for me. Has anyone ever done it? How was it?
I have not drank that much booze in a while, but that is the kind of stuff myself and buddies did back in the day!
Booze or not you're a braver man than I if you did it! ;)

What have you been up to?
I remember one time we climbed up the Detroit Zoo water tower, of
course one of us froze up there and we spent a hour or more talking him down. Lucky to not have the police involved.
Seriously, trying to keep my sanity with my hobbies of the BBS, ham radio, and square dancing. Between a car wreck, and a plumbing incident earlier this year, finances are tighter than a frog's butt underwater.

I've never heard that one before, but I gotta say I would imagine
that's pretty darn tight. It seems like the prices are going up on everything, don't get me started.
I hope you've been able to get out a bit and enjoy a few hobbies.
You should have stopped on
the way home to buy a lottery ticket after managing to not get caught. I suppose that used up all the luck though.

Aside from the BBS, I do ham radio (conducted a license exam session in the area this past Saturday), and I do traffic nets 4 nights a week. And, I'm the Editor, Webmaster, and Circulation Chairman for the Arkansas
State Square Dance Federation. Most of my work is "behind the scenes",
and I rarely dance anymore. Health and finances have really put a damper on travel outside of central Arkansas.
Of course you wouldn't see me doing that silly stuff now...
I haven't been to the top of the Arch, but I've been to the tippy-top of the Eiffel Tower and it's pretty nuts. After you take the regular
I've also been to the top of the "Tokyo Skytree" which is a giant oberservation tower in Tokyo. The Sky tree is the worlds tallest "self
Wouldn't see you doing it or wouldn't see you getting caught. ;)
I will have to check out some video of the Eiffel Tower trip to the top and the Tokyo Skytree. I've never heard of that one but it does sound interesting. From the sound of it I believe I would appreciate it from the ground though.
I've been involved in a few "behind the scenes" rolls associated with various hobbies and I know just how much time they take up and how thankless of a job they can be. With many groups / organizations it's amazing how just one or two people are really the glue that keeps the whole thing together and how quickly it comes apart if they aren't
there to do all the work.
Booze or not you're a braver man than I if you did it! ;)
