• Christmas gifts

As Christmas is approaching, how do you feel about what gifts to give to loved ones and friends... what would be an ideal gift.

Dude, it's July, it's over 100F here. I don't even think about it until December, most of my stuff I don't get until the day or two before. I always try to some up with something inventive for my parents though.

It's never too late to prepare. Our heat index here in Kansas was 110F, supposed to be in the 100F all week. I agree though, it's best to wait for good deals on things. This last year was a record high for return of gifts. Usually the day or two after the holiday is when things get marked down.

Right now the nursing home doesn't allow visitors, I'm hoping to see my mom sometime. It's been awhile since all this stuff started going on. The state fair and river festival has been cancelled; which is bad news for the state I live in as it brings in millions. It wasn't a light thing to get cancelled, yet, it was necessary for the safety and wellness of people.

    Or too early?

It sucks that we cannot see family. Texas State Fair has been cancelled too. That's a huge draw for the city.

My wife is from Kansas, btw. I feel you pain :)

More like this message is a little late, but yeah, I think Christmas should
be celebrated all year around in junction with the meaning of the season, our Lord Jesus.

Kansas State Fair was cencelled too. Definately a draw back on income for
    the state.

Oh, it's not so bad. My wife is from Texas. :)

    Sincerely,
