• Practice Packet Net

From Daryl Stout@316:36/20 to All on Mon Dec 14 00:02:35 2020
Black River Radio Ops and Cuyahoga County, Ohio ARES have been hosting
a Monday "packet practice" net in Northeast Ohio for the past several
months. There are two goals for the net:

    1) For local amateurs to gain proficinecy with using Winlink and packet
    on VHF or HF.

    2) For us to identity other Packet systems that want to establish a link
    into the Greater Cleveland area.

    How the "net" works:

Every monday, between 6am and 9pm ET, send a message to one or both
    addresses:

    AB8M@AB8M.#CLE.OH.USA.NOAM
    AB8M@winlink.org

Please include your name, call, location, how you are sending the message (telnet, vhf, hf, etc.), and anything else you might want to include for
a comment. It doesn't have to be anything fancy.

I'll collect the messages, fold them into a communication back to
everyone who participated, and send something late Monday or during
the day on Tuesday. All amateurs are welcome to participate.
