• Is there a WhisperNet ANSI advert?

From paulie420@316:36/34 to All on Sun Nov 1 13:10:38 2020
As many, I like to post my FTNs in a list before my message menu... is there a WhisperNet ANSI file? If not, do we need one???

    Cheers.

If there is one, I'm not aware of it.

It'd be nice...I think I have a ANSI screen for Micronet.

So, if there isn't I think I'll ask cr1mson if we can get one designed. I'm *sure* some folks in the ANSi community would help, and maybe he would be open to discussing design options and wants. I'll make a post in the sysOp/admin section.

Is MicroNet your network? What does is specialize in? Is it active? Are you accepting applications?

I think ANSI screens advertising your networks are nice.

Get with Sean Dennis...he's also in FIDONet...but he oversees the network. Andrew Leary is the backup coordinator.

I've known Sean for several years, and got to meet him and his stepdad years ago, when they were traveling through Arkansas. Besides being Sysops, he and I are also amateur radio operators.

I've got one for Micronet, and for CyberNet. I took the FIDONet logo from
an issue of the FIDOGazette, and added ANSI color (giving credit to Tom Jennings for the design), and it's in my "networks screen" after logon.

Is MicroNet your network? What does is specialize in? Is it active? Are you accepting applications?

It's one of them. Sean Dennis is in charge of the network, with Andrew
Leary as his backup. I also get FIDONet, ILink, VKRadioNet, DoveNet, plus
GT Power/Autosports (the latter ones are QWK Networked...the others are
    done via FTN).
