  • Down For Storms

    Just a note that thunderstorms are likely across Arkansas from
    late Tuesday into Friday. So, I may not do any mail runs for a few
    days. I will poll for back mail once the weather calms down. We
    do need the rain, though.

    Jon,

    I hope all is well.

    There is a Tornado Watch just to my northwest until 11pm Central Time
    this evening, with storms likely later this evening and overnight. More
    storms are likely Wednesday and Wednesday night, with just rain for
    Thursday and Friday.

    I've got to have Yag Laser Surgery on my right eye on Nov. 18. I had cataract surgery several years ago, which improved the visual acuity
    from 20/2000 to 20/20. Shortly thereafter, I had the Yag Laser Surgery
    on my left eye, and I've had astigmatism in my right eye. Lately, my
    night vision has been "fogged" with the oncoming headlights, etc., to
    where it has made night time driving virtually impossible. I don't
    anticipate any complications after the eye surgery, but if I lose the
    eye, then I have to give up driving. I'll then have to take Uber out
    to the Post Office Box twice a month, and to medical appointments...
    plus, I'll get groceries and medications delivered. But otherwise, I
    will be stuck at home...and alone...the rest of my life. At least I
    still have the hobbies via computer, so I'm not totally isolated.
