My suggestion was to help in not letting those windows groups, which are
IMO some of the best groups around, turn to shit like lots of others.
If everyone posted something off-topic groups become unusable. Yes, it
is very interesting to read and learn about some of the off-topic
discussion. But we all should try and get better at keeping things
relevant to each group. This makes the whole of usenet better.

It amazes me the people who are willing to freely give their time and
advice to people in these groups. No need to name them as we all know
who some of these great people are, and there are several I've been
reading for years. Fortunately, many of those great people lurk in
these groups too.

Thanks for recognizing the, IMO, right path to move forward. We all
benefit.
